What did you think of the 10 considerations for a happy relationship?
As I mentioned in the last post, we will look at each consideration and break down what it means and what it could look like in your relationship.
Happy Relationship Consideration #1
Let’s dive into the first one…
“Thou shalt protect the safety and security of thy relationship at all costs” (Stan Tatkin)
Question for you…
- What first sparked in your mind as to what this might mean?
- How could this look in your relationship?
On the flip side…
- What doesn’t this look like?
- What it doesn’t mean?
Happy Relationship – What does it look like?
Do you know what makes you feel secure in your relationship?
Do you know what it feels like when you know your partner is there for you, willing to listen to you, is your friend, confidant, and lover?
Do you know what makes your partner feel secure? What makes them have a happy relationship?
As you reflect on these questions for consideration…envision what it might be like for you, and for your relationship, if both partners feel secure with each other. If both of you are having the happy relationship you each envision.
It is possible.
Happy Relationship – Myth or Truth?
Change is possible.
It is possible to have a happy relationship, one that meets your needs and your partners needs. Yes, it can take some time, energy and effort but it’s an investment you’re making in yourself and your relationship.
