Have you been wanting to work with couples?
Do you have questions about how to work specifically with couples?
Are you currently working only with individuals but want to expand into working with couples?
Are you currently working with couples and want coaching around specific needs?
If yes…you’ve come to the right place!
I love helping fellow therapists and counselors provide awesome care for their couple clients!
If you’ve been wanting to work with couples or are currently seeing a couple or two and have questions that keep coming up around specific situations, what steps to take, and how to also care for yourself, you’ve come to the right place!
Together, we will learn what makes you unique and unpack how to further help you grow this speciality in your therapy practice.
Many clients I work with are just beginning to work with couples or have been working on and off with a few couples counseling sessions. And many have found great support in:
- Being able to work with a professional couples therapist that specializes in couples therapy
- Being able to have a coach/mentor to help launch this important part of their practice
- To overcome any obstacles to self doubt or imposter syndrome that may come up as you embark on this important and new component of your clinical expertise
- And to know you’re not alone
Working with couples is so very rewarding. And with the rewards also come ups and downs. Good news is, you don’t have to go through it alone! I can help coach and mentor you throughout this journey.

- How to structure couples therapy sessions
- How to work with certain emotions that impact you as the therapist or counselor
Immediate Help Now
Want immediate help now? I’ve provided a few examples of some ways we can look at what you’re currently doing to see what’s working and where you’d like to grow.
Booster Phone Sessions
Sometimes things come up and you might be thinking – I wish I had someone to talk to about this specific situation? I wish I knew someone that worked specifically with couples to help me navigate certain things that are coming up in sessions and/or within me as the couples therapist or counselor?
If you’ve been feeling this way and are in need of a mentor or coach to help you get through any stuck places, booster phone sessions might be a good a fit. These sessions are 30 minute calls with me where we will dive into what’s getting you stuck and help you move to a place where you feel confident in your next action steps.
Reviewing Informed Consent for Couples Work
Having a new set of eyes can definitely help when it comes to looking over your informed consent for couples. Together, we will walk through your paperwork and review what’s working and what can be improved upon based on your specific needs. We will talk about certain situations that could arise and what you’re policies are around such issues. And, we will create content on your consent form that accurately reflects your policies and is transparent for couples agreeing to work with you.
I can help you with this over the phone through a coaching call. Depending on your specific needs around content creation, these calls can be scheduled for 30 minutes or 60 minutes.
Profile Directory Listings
We will walk through your directory profiles to determine if they accurately reflect your therapeutic skills and ability to help couples looking for your specific expertise. Typically, we will talk through this over a coaching call. Calls last 60 minutes. I do offer shorter 30 minute sessions if needed.
When you’re just starting out (and even if you’ve been at this for a stretch of time) self doubt always has a way of getting in sometimes. It’s completely normal and can be a healthy part of the process. But, when you’re going through it, it can be tough. This is where we can work together to look at what’s contributing to self doubt and work toward developing a mindset that can boost your confidence and allowing you the ability to help more people needing your specific services. We can work together either online, over the phone, or in my office (if you live in Austin). Typically, we would schedule this for 50 minutes.
