Are you sometimes caught in the struggle (and believe me the struggle is real) of competition. Wanting to do the latest trainings. Wanting to keep up with what your colleagues are doing. But really, when you stop to think about why you’re doing those things, is it really what you want to be doing with your time?
I can help you. Together, we will work toward building the mindset needed to achieve the business and life you want!
I help soon to be graduates and newly licensed therapists create the mindset needed to know you can achieve your goals! You can achieve your dreams! You can create the life and business you want.
When you’re first starting out (and even if you’ve been at this for many many years) self doubting thoughts can and do pop up from time to time. In fact, love the fact that they will! That way they aren’t so scary and paralyzing when they do.
But the fun part about it is that you don’t have to live according to those self limiting thoughts. As long as you’re willing to put in the day to day work that’s needed. You can accomplish your therapy private practice dreams. It can be done. It is being done. And you can do it.

Example of What it Takes to Build a Therapy Private Practice and How Coaching Can Help You!
So for anyone reading this that’s still in school. Think of all you accomplished with being in graduate school.
Maybe going back to school was a mid-life career change for you (as it was for me!). Or, maybe this was something you decided straight after undergraduate school. Whatever the specifics are, you had a goal in mind…get into a professional counseling graduate program (for example).
Once you set out to accomplish that goal you had another goal, do what you need to do to graduate. You took all of the classes you needed, you studied on your own, maybe did extensive research on many important topics and prepared and defended a thesis. And maybe you worked one on one with clients while under the supervision of a professor. These are all examples of what you needed to do to accomplish your end goal – graduating from a professional counseling graduate school program.
The idea is the same around building your therapy private practice. Meaning, you start with the end goal in mind. If one of your end goals is to have a therapy private practice, then you work each day to produce what that would look like and take the steps toward making that happen.
You have to be ok with trying things and failing. Failing is just a stepping stone to fine tuning where you want to go and how you get there. That’s it. It doesn’t mean stop. It’s not worth it. Don’t do it. No! It just means something didn’t work so let me figure out what it was that didn’t work and how I can fine tune things so I can try again.
Just don’t quit! Believe in your end goal!
This is all part of creating a healthy mindset for building a therapy private practice.
